We finished this bumper off with four integrated light buckets for surface mount LED pod lights (custom light cut outs available by request, such as the light bar version shown), an integrated winch mount to accept all standard 8-12k lb winches with removable solenoids, and heavy duty 9/16″ recovery points that are placed directly in line with the Toyota 4Runner frame to eliminate any leveraging effects. If you are paying to have the bumper assembled by a welding shop, this significantly lowers the cost. This greatly reduces the amount of welding and grinding required by you and makes for a cleaner finished product. The main section of this bumper is CNC-bent out of a single piece of 3/16″ P&O Steel. We have thought ahead and specifically designed these bumper side wings to easily clear 37″ tires. This can create interference issues with the stock front bumper. We know that most 4th gen 4Runner owners want to run oversized tires and more aggressive wheel offsets. These side wings will take a serious hit without flexing or deflecting into the vehicle body. The side wings of this bumper wrap around to the front wheel wells and tie directly into the main frame mounting plates for true offroad protection. The bumper sits as high and tight to the front of the 4th generation (2003-2009) Toyota 4Runner as possible, while the angled lower faces will smoothly slide over obstacles and ensure you do not get hung up on the trail. Once fully installed, the solid aluminum shell will not rust, even if the included powder coat is compromised. Also included is the bolt-on RT light mount that does not interfere with the TSS, this can also hold up to a 20” LED light bar (if installing a light bar to the RT hoop, the TSS will be affected). This bumper includes a bracket to mount up to a 30” LED light bar, like the Baja Designs S8, or pods to the aluminum cover before installing it to the winch mount. We designed our aluminum shell to completely cover all cut lines, so even if you have to use a beaver and mangle the edges, they will be hidden from view.

Now you can easily install the winch and carrier, route your wires and make sure everything is attached properly before attaching the aluminum cover. With this in mind, our bumper is designed in two pieces, a solid steel winch carrier with 1” shackle mounts and a lightweight aluminum shell that attaches to the winch mount. This bumper is specifically designed for the 2014-2022 Toyota 4runner. After exploring the bumper options for the Toyota 4runner and installing a few, we knew there needed to be a better way, so we created our own.
